Darned things

I will start blogging properly again soon.

home.

I miss this blog and the fact it encouraged me to look for the joy in my life.
Anyway, new living space..
We didn't need much and we were lucky to be given gift vouchers towards the things we did.
Volunteering in a charity shop also helps, although I have gotten better at not buying & thinking about what I'm bringing home, thanks to Marie Kondo.

Life has been so big and fast recently.
To think this time last year, I didn't know how I was going to achieve any of the things I've achieved in the last 6 months.
Now I am trying to regather and think about what I want next - maybe not such big things, but to reestablish a rhythm that includes the small things I have been letting slide as well as some goals to continue moving towards.

Castle Rising

We went on a day out to Castle Rising and King's Lynn. I'm sure I took some photos of the town, but they don't seem to be here.

resuming

I'm going to start blogging properly again soon, preferably not when I'm in bed trying to tap quietly whilst my boyfriend sleeps beside me.
The chickens went to a new home because I had less time and liked eggs less, but I hear they are happy and miraculously survived their coop being crushed by a tree in the awful winds.
I've been making a lot of changes and my attitude to life is becoming a lot more positive; probably why I want to blog again. I had gotten into a bit of a slump and most of my energy has gone into dealing with that and prioritising the main important things in life. Which is why my garden currently looks like a jungle and I haven't yet been able to do any volunteering this year.

Chickens

my new culinary herb bed, + frog

eating sweet potato
St. John's Wort & Jacob's Ladder
Courgettes & eggshells in a somewhat empty raised bed with plotted square feet.
Alys, disliking the sound of the camera clicking
Wisteria

I am slowly slowly getting back to things. The stress I was feeling because of my job was wearing, wearing, wearing me down. I stopped crafting, I stopped taking photos, I disliked most of my hobbies. Everything started to feel very bad, and that's no way to live. I've left that behind now and I'm scared about what comes next, but the fear is easier than the stress of before. I've started making again, I've started growing again, I seem to have started everything again. Most of my photos have been coming out blurry, it's like I really am starting over.
